A few years ago my family renovated our house it is like flat refurbishment only we not only refurbish but expand the size as well after we move back to our hometown. I remembered the house was big, blue and in the middle of no where but for me it's perfect. So peaceful, away from traffic noise and plenty of fresh air.

Before my parents follow up with the plan, they discussed about the idea of hiring help. My mother wants to hire people that knows how to do work well and on time but my dad disagree. He said they can skip to hire and let her friends do the job and much cheaper because they are his friends. My mother was not so please with the idea, she knew if they skip to hire people who works well and on time and follow my dad's idea, they job will not complete on time and only waste time.

After arguing about the hiring help finally my dad won the debate, they skip to hire the workers that mother wants and hire my dad's friends instead. At home we have a small hut where we usually accept our guest there. My parents allow them to stay there until the house is complete. I can understand this since our house location is far from their village.

At first they were doing okay but after a week I notice they are becoming lazy. My parents had provided them a nice place to stay, where there is TV, kitchen and food so they don't have to go out to buy. Every weekend they go back to their village to visit their family and still they are not doing their work properly. I remember the head worker refusing to follow order which totally is against the contact.

The house renovation was taking to much time, more than we expected. The funniest thing I remember, when the head worker was not around the subordinate workers will not work not until 3P.M just a couple hours before my parents come home from work. We talked about this matter with my parents but my dad was willing to close one eye because are his friend. I know my dad regretted his decision.

The house was finally finish refurbish after 8 months. The most significant thing that my parents really regret was the people that they hire do not know how to handle waste management issue. They left everything and it was totally a mess.

Now we have move to a new town and sold the house, five bedrooms, two kitchen, 2 bathrooms and plan to build a new house soon; but this time I will make sure my parents to hire good hardworking people and skip to hire any lazy one that intend to take advantage on others.
