Waste disposal, waste disposal services and mortar sales are but a few things that we have going on at the company.We not only offer mini skip hires but we also have three other sizes.Ranging from midi skip, builders skip and large skip.A lot of our clients ask for the mini skip hire or the mini skip bag for their gardening needs. Their light waste needs are ideal for the smaller size.I have found that we do more mini skip hire/bags and the midi skip on a quarterly basis than any other size.At one time I had thought about cutting back on some of the sizes that we offer since we don't handle a lot of people who have heavy duty needs.I could always replace my larger skips with the minis since the mini skip hire is what most of them want.Maybe I could do a trade off with one of my competitors who handle the bigger jobs. That way I won't loose on inventory or space.When people think of their home improvement needs they think of me.My company is a small family business (Skip4Hire) and has been operating since 2001.Thus far we have been making a nice profit,enough to pay off the business investment and any employees that we have.Fortunately we already owned the building,it's been in the family for over 50 years;we just didn't know what to do with it and decided to open up a waste management and recycling company that also catered to that do-it-yourself-er.

Because of the competition out there I have been thinking of including more things that the average people need.Like gardening equipment, top soil, home improvement projects like faucets and sinks. I want to make this a truly one stop shop for any and everyone.It's really hard to come up with ideas to keep people interested in you.I had also decided to pass out flyer's to my clients as well as those in my community.Included in the flyer is a suggestion box,I asked people to give ideas of what they would like to see us have for them.No matter how ridiculous it may sound to them if it was something that many wanted then we could do it.Mini skip hire is what we handle most but not anymore.I want this company to be like the Home-Depot company in the U.S.They carry everything including seeds, plants,storage sheds and shovels.The more we make improvements on the inventory, the more I'm loving what we do.Next week we're having a one day class to show people how to strip old furniture.
