For the seventh or eighth time in the last two months, Iwent to the Go

For the seventh or eighth time in the last two months, Iwent to the Google web site and typed in 'skip hire uk', waited for results, and started browsing the options. Limited choices are certainly not a problem, but finding a reputable, decently priced local company is a little more challenging.
There are plenty of 'skip hire uk' companies listed - however, many of them are not appropriate for me. Small, local businesses in other areas of the country are obviously no good. Larger 'skip hire uk' companies, which have bases in several towns usually charge more, just because they are more well known.
We are beginning some refurbishment projects on our little terraced house next month. My husband has taken two weeks off work, to walk to school with our daughter for her first fourteen days of "big school". We decided it would be a good idea to get some essential house refurbishment done in those two weeks, there is a lot to do and we have to fit everything around his work holidays.
We already have somebricks from previous refurbishment projects to get rid of, and some old, broken furniture which is no use to anybody, and we will be producing a lot more waste during the two weeks' work we have planned. The council would take away most of this, but they charge for each item and it would cost so much, it just isn't practical. With two young children, we can't afford to throw money away. Hence the 'skip hire uk' search.
I eventually narrowed the choice down to two local companies. One is just down the road and they are open for business six days a week. The other is on the other side of town and only open for four days a week, with the staff taking long weekends off, Friday to Sunday, but they are cheaper. We had hoped, when we worked out our project schedule, to hire a skip on a Saturday. Now I'm not sure, maybe we should hire one mid-week from the cheaper company to save costs.
On the other hand, I am notorious for sticking to my plans, I hate it when they are disrupted. Is it worth an extratwenty pounds to keep to my originalschedule? I shall have to discuss it with my husband, but I'm almost certain he will tell me to hire from the cheapest company. After seeing all those listings for skip hire, I'm very disappointed that the choice comes down to just these two inadequate options.
