Waste lorry drivers must never be short of business, especially with companies like the one i work for being around. The amount of waste that goes out of our site on a daily basis is a huge amount and I've always wondered just where it is that it goes to. I feel sorry for the people that unload it and have to sort through it every day. Our company always uses the same company which is skip hire uk, good prices and big skips, its always a bonus.

Our company specializes in flat refurbishment but every now and then some of us workers do a few jobs on the side in house extension mainly. The flat refurbishment that we are currently working on is actually a block of about 50 separate flats and its hard work going up and down the flights of stairs over and over again every day but it is a very satisfying job and i don't think there is anybody on the job that doesn't actually like it.

The waste lorry comes by at about 5 every afternoon to clear the days waste from the site so that we can have an empty skip to use every morning making it a lot easier to move around and see what it is that we have got to do.

The house extension that we are working on in our spare time is actually at one of the other employees houses. It is already a huge house and I'm not quite sure why he is wanting another house extension but if it helps him out then i don't mind doing it. We have the waste lorry pick up the skips from the site then to the house so that we can fill it up there with the waste from the house extension.

I will be glad when the flat refurbishment is finished as it is a very tiring job and i will definitely be putting in my holidays at the end of it. I think I've deserved it.I can't wait to see the final result of both jobs but the flat refurbishment is my favorite of all time just purely because of the size of it. It's the biggest job I've ever done and probably never do again.
