Since it is said women drivers are reckless, these lessons should be focused on the mentality and reasoning of a woman's mind. The lessons should be catered for women and young drivers since young drivers lack the proper driving etiquette. Perhaps there should be a special driving school for women. In this special driving school, women would not only learn about defensive driving, they would also learn what they should not be doing while driving. These things could include applying make-up, using the cell phone and digging through your purse in search of chewing gum or cash. Since so many young drivers are so amped up on sweets and caffeine and their need for speed, safety tips should be taught as offensive techniques. Defensive driving comes natural to most drivers, but the ability to stay calm, controlled, and cautious does not matter when trying to get somewhere fast. These driving schools should teach proper driving techniques and should emphasize the need for safe and cautious driving. Both young driver and women would benefit greatly from a class that teaches safe and cautious driving. On the other hand, I often wonder if women drivers are even capable of being calm, controlled, and cautious. When women get behind the wheel, the seem to turn into theses snarling, wild beasts and anyone in their right mind just needs to get out of their way. When you are out driving, you can spot a woman driver very easily. It starts with a little speck in your rear view mirror that quickly becomes a fast moving mix of metal and wheels that is riding your bumper. Behind the wheel is a woman driver in a hurry and she is angry at you because in her mind, you stand between her and where she wants to go. Maybe it would be a good idea if this driving school for women also included straight jackets to go with the defensive driving videos and driver's handbooks.
