I was excited about graduating High School and moving forward to a lif

I was excited about graduating High School and moving forward to a life without being teased. I hated the inept comments made by brain dead morons who knew nothing about kindness and courtesy. It was time for living life freely not caring about others views. I finally would be more independent and obtaining a driver's license would be the first major hurdle. Luckily, that didn't go as bad as I thought it would and I got it. The second step on the road to my independence was getting a car to drive around wherever I pleased. I wasn't aware of what kind of vehicle I would be getting from my parents, but I expected a four wheeled car with doors and windows. I got a scooter which became quite the accessory. Driving to school on my scooter was a big part of my college life. Learning how to drive my scooter on the defensive side was the most difficult part. My scooter, with blue and gold paws printed all around signifying my High School pride, was the thing to laugh about . College was filled with newly High School graduate teenage jerk faces whose thought of a joke was laughing at me. It was difficult not to develop a defensive attitude towards them since they were exactly the people I was glad I would be getting away from after High School graduation. Little did I know that there isn't much to grow up from senior year in High School to freshman year in college. The same attitudes, behaviors and rumors linger around. Other than the finger pointing and silly smirks I received from my fellow peers, I was viciously taunted on the busy parking lot of my college. I had received a fantastic driving lesson from my cousin when having purchased the scooter, however, I was unaware of how to use defensive techniques to protect myself from the annoying arrogant college students and their fancy vehicles. I became frustrated with college life being exactly the same way High school was. I finally sold my scooter and happily accepted a red Neon .
