Kevin and Molly were currently doing up their house and had arranged for the cheapest skip hire available so that they were able to throw out the old bathroom suite and kitchen cupboards etc. They had lived in the house since before their oldest, Whitney had been born and in fact she had been born in the bathroom. They couldn't ever leave this house now.
